Casino av Ofelia Jarl Ortega

Casino – oppkalt etter det cubanske navnet på salsa og salsaklubb – finner sted på en fiktiv latinamerikansk klubb for pardans. Forestillingen utforsker forholdet til salsa som fikk stor betydning for den latinamerikanske diasporaen. Musikken høres dansernes engasjement, rytmen i kroppen, i lyden av dansetrinn. Casino – titled after the Cuban name for salsa and salsa club – takes place at a fictional Latin American club for couples dancing. It explores the relationship with salsa, which became very important for the Latin American diaspora. The music is heard in the engagement of the dancers and the sounds of their steps.
